Mike Smith (American artist, b. 1942) “The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the freedom involved with it.” according to Smith. Besides whimsical scenes and charming animals, Smith also incorporates elements from his leisure activities, as depicted in this lithograph – golfing. Mike Smith finds inspiration for his subjects and colors in the gardens and rural settings of his home and studio in the Pacific Northwest. His subject matter features objects of his life, family, and the neighbors and town that he lives in.
